High quality, natural proteins are ideal ingredients for the production of premium piglet feeds, poultry and aqua feeds.

Plasma proteins are widely used in piglet diets. This ingredient has proven to be essential in the transition from sow’s milk to dry feed. Plasma proteins encourage the feed intake of early weaned piglets substantially while also providing intestinal protection due to the high amount of immunoglobins (20 – 30%) in the product. As such plasma proteins are important components in antibiotic free piglet diets.

Recent research is showing also effects of plasma proteins in pre starter diets for broilers and pullets. The main effect is an improved feed utilization (FCR).

Haemoglobin protein is used as a highly digestible protein source is poultry grower feeds. But it is even a more indispensable ingredient for high quality aqua feeds. The product is very concentrated in protein (> 90%) and is very rich in the essential amino acid histidine.
